The Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick provides comprehensive outpatient care for all aspects of cystic fibrosis, through a diagnostic and consultative multidisciplinary ongoing care framework.
It's also home to the miCF Research Centre, a new research-focused service which aims to fast-track a cure for the disease through precision medicine and clinical trials.
The Sydney Children's Hospital Cystic Fibrosis service provides:
- Inpatient and outpatient treatment services
- New diagnosis education, ongoing management and support
- Outreach service including school and home visits, community liaison
- Clinical research
To make an appointment you will need a referral from your General Practitioner or specialist.
Cystic Fibrosis services are provided through our respiratory department, located on Level 0, South West Wing (Ainsworth Wing) of the Hospital.
Where required, Cystic Fibrosis patients will be admitted to one of the general or specialist wards for inpatient treatment.
