Pledge to end violence against children
Child abuse and neglect is a significant problem in Australia. In 2015/16, 225,487 Australian children were suspected of being harmed or at risk of harm from abuse and/or neglect, resulting in more than 355,000 notifications being issued by state and territory authorities.
Sadly these figures continue to increase year after year. It's not right and it needs to stop.
Staff across Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network have committed to making this happen and have taken the pledge to end violence against children and young people. Now and forever.
Be part of the change and take the pledge too. Visit nowandforever.nsw.gov.au
