Please don’t ride on the tracks or cross the tracks on an angle. When crossing at intersections, follow traffic signals or traffic controllers as trams can't stop quickly.

Parents and immediate family may visit the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick at any time.

Each ward has times that other family and friends may visit. While we encourage visitors, we may ask that some families limit the total number of visitors to help us maintain a relatively peaceful environment. The staff caring for your child will inform you of the visiting hours.

Food and facilities

There is a cafe and cafeteria inside the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick open on weekdays. Services and facilities available include an interpreter service, gift shop, pharmacy, home equipment lending service, chaplaincy services, kids entertainment facilities and a hospital school. Public phones are available at the northern end of the main corridor on Level 0 and the Emergency Department of the Sydney Children's Hospital.

Gifts for children

The Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation Gift Shop stocks all the essentials for a hospital stay plus newspapers, magazines, health education material and a wide range of special gifts. All profits from the shop are donated to the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.

The Foundation Gift Shop is located on the ground floor of the Barker Street entrance to the Randwick Campus and is Open 7 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 1 pm on weekends.
