Calling all creatures great and small
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead will soon fill their halls and walls with a collection of creatures from the animal kingdom for the sixth annual Youth Arts Competition.
Entries have just opened for this year’s competition, with patients, staff, family and friends encouraged to create an innovative artwork inspired by the theme, Animalia.
Participants have the opportunity to interpret the animal-focused theme in their own unique way and can enter their artwork in a range of different styles including photograph, drawing, painting and digital design.
Entry into the competition is free and open to all ages, with individualised categories for kids, teenagers and adults. Entrants are also eligible to win a number of great prizes.
Entry forms plus terms and conditions can be downloaded here or can be collected from The Department of Adolescent Medicine, Level 1 at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Entries close Monday 31 August. Winners will be announced on Thursday 24 September.
