Education program launched at Sydney Children's Hospital
Fight Cancer Foundation patrons Deborra-lee Furness and Hugh Jackman recently joined staff, patients and families to launch the Back on Track program at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
The Back on Track program enables children undergoing long-term cancer treatment to continue with their education, with the support of a dedicated teacher funded thanks to the Fight Cancer Foundation.
The program has been running successfully at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead for close to ten years. A Back on Track funded teacher will commence at Randwick in September.
The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network thanks the Fight Cancer Foundation and its patrons Deborra-lee Furness and Hugh Jackman for their continued support of the Hospital's patients and families.
