It's Bandaged Bear Day

On Friday, March 2, The Children's Hospital at Westmead is asking the community to reach out a helping hand in support of Bandaged Bear Day.

Volunteers will be hitting train stations all around Sydney this morning, selling merchandise and collecting donations.

Merchandise will include the iconic clip-on bear as well as wristbands, pens, supporter pins, notepads and key rings, with prices ranging from two to five dollars. They will be available at the following train stations from approximately 5.00 – 9.00 am:

  • Central
  • Chatswood
  • Circular Quay
  • Fairfield
  • Gosford
  • Hornsby
  • Hurstville
  • Liverpool
  • Martin Place
  • North Sydney
  • Parramatta
  • Penrith
  • St. Leonards
  • Strathfield
  • Town Hall
  • Westmead
  • Wynyard

This year, the Bandaged Bear Appeal is aiming to raise $1 million to help ensure children and young people can live their healthiest lives. All funds raised on Bandaged Bear Day, and throughout March, will go towards lifesaving equipment, research into childhood diseases and the delivery of world class services for patients and their families.
