Take advantage of the free drinking water fountains that have recently been installed at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
One of the water fountains, provided by Sydney Water, has recently been installed on Level 2, near Starbucks and the Outpatients waiting area. The second fountain will be installed in the coming weeks on Level 1, as you exit The Hospital towards the Children's Garden and Ronald McDonald House.
The new drinking fountains come as the network strives to become more sustainable, encouraging staff and families to refill their drink bottles, rather than using disposable cups and bottles.
Sustainability Officer, Megan Shaw said the fountains would go a long way in reducing our impact on the environment.
“Not only are we providing free, fresh and safe drinking water but these fountains also enable us to reduce the amount of plastic waste that can end up in landfill,” Ms Shaw said.
