Changes to surveillance testing

In line with NSW Health advice, patients and their accompanying parent/carer no longer need to have a PCR test prior to coming to hospital for an outpatient appointment or surgery.

In some cases, a rapid antigen test may be performed. If you are planning to come to one of our hospitals and are a close contact of a COVID-19 case, or have cold-like symptoms, please call ahead to discuss.

For up-to-date information on COVID-19 visit our dedicated page or go to nsw.gov.au/COVID-19.
