Mandatory reporting of a positive RAT result
Mandatory reporting of a positive rapid antigen test result
It is now mandatory to report a positive rapid antigen test result via the Service NSW app or website.
If you or your child test positive, make sure to register your result as soon as possible. Failing to report a positive rapid antigen test result could lead to a $1000 fine. There is no need to report a positive PCR test result via the app.
After you register, you will be guided on how to manage care at home and when to seek help. Once you have registered, you will also receive advice about ‘release from isolation’ documents, which you may need to provide to work, school or childcare.
