  • Minecraft allows patients to build their own hospital

    A special Minecraft game, which allows players to design their own hospital building, has been launched as part of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Stage 2 (CHW2) redevelopment project.

    The second tower crane arrived on the Sydney Children's Hospital Stage 1 and Minderoo Children's Comprehensive Cancer Centre site this month, and the project’s builder invited patients, community members and superheroes along to celebrate.

    A playground with a variety of sensory equipment, designed in consultation with parents of children with diverse needs, clinicians, and members of the local Aboriginal community, has opened at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
