Changes to NDIS billing in Orthotics

Introduction

To ensure we are appropriately funded, we have made some changes to our billing processes.  

At your appointment, we might ask you about your NDIS status and plan. This will help us ensure your child's treatment plan meets your needs and helps achieve your child's goals. 

We might ask you to use your NDIS plan to fund the cost of your orthotic devices and associated appointments if:

  • you are a NDIS participant, 
  • you choose to use us as a provider of orthoses, and 
  • your orthotic device relates to your child's disability. 

This will help to ensure treatment we provide meets your child's needs and is appropriately funded. 

If you don’t currently have budget in your plan for orthotics, our staff can help you with relevant information to provide to the NDIS to add this to your plan.
