Epilepsy family handbook (PENNSW)
Children and young people with epilepsy are able to have fulfilling lives.
The information in this handbook has been created for patients with epilepsy and their family members.
Learn about epilepsy conditions, diagnosis and treatment, genetic testing, safety and first aid, lifestyle, and dealing with emotions. There are also specific resources for adolescents and young adults with epilepsy.
The Epilepsy family handbook is designed to complement, not replace, the relationship between a patient and their physician. Patients and parents/carers should consult their treating doctor for professional advice before making any health decisions or starting treatment.
