Paediatric Oncology

SCHN has two tertiary oncology services including inpatient units, blood transplant and cellular therapy services, ambulatory and community services. Both oncology services provide 24-hour, 7 days per week therapeutic care to children, young people and their families from NSW, around Australia and the Pacific Region being treated for cancer and other non-malignant conditions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team incorporating expertise from Nursing, Child Life Therapy, Clinical Trials, Dietetics, Medical, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Social Work. Child and Youth Mental Health

SCHN has a tertiary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in-patient units across both sites. Both units are 8-bed declared acute mental health inpatient facilities under the NSW Mental Health Act 2007. The units provide 24-hours, 7 days per week therapeutic care to children and youth experiencing acute psychiatric or complex mental health issues.

You will work closely within a multidisciplinary teamed approach incorporating expertise from Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Psychology, Social Work, Art, Music therapists and Peer Work.
