Drugs and alcohol

Experimentation with alcohol and other drugs is part of the lives of many young people. 

Here's some useful tips on being safe and seeking support if needed. 

Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS) NSW

Whether you are having issues with alcohol or other drugs, are concerned about someone else’s alcohol or other drug use, or just have general questions about alcohol or other drugs, you can call ADIS any time of the day or week for support, information, counselling and referral to services in NSW.

ADIS Web Chat is also available from Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm (including public holidays).

DrugCocktails

DrugCocktails is a website for youth to help them “get the facts” about the effects and risks of mixing medications they take with substances. Search for the medication you use and learn the effects of taking it with other substances.

Youth Solutions

Youth Solutions provides a list of drug and alcohol-related  support services, programs and information lines to get help
