Mercury eCredential

The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) has transitioned to a new credentialing system called Mercury eCredential.

This is a state-wide, web-based system that will allow Local Health Districts and Networks (LHDNs) to automate their credentialing process as part of the recruitment of Senior Medical and Dental Officers (SM&DOs). This system will provide a secure platform to allow entry and maintenance of SM&DO credentials. It provides clinicians, recruitment teams, convenors and executives a comprehensive view of progress throughout the credentialing process. Clinicians include Senior Staff Specialists, Staff Specialists, Visiting Medical Officers, Visiting Dental Officers, Honorary Medical Officers and Clinical Academics. The system maintains privacy at all times as clinicians can choose to share their profile with a Health Service for the purposes of credentialing and re-credentialing.

Keeping your own clinical profile up to date easily with Mercury eCredential.

How does it work?

If you want to update your clinical profile such as qualifications for re-credentialing purposes; you will need to have an account with Mercury eCredential. Currently all existing medical practioners from 2015 have profiles created by SCHN. If you require an account, please register online and create an account profile on www.myclinicalprofile.com.au.

How do I get started?

  1. Log on to Myclinicalprofile.
  2. Navigate and manage your profile page by updating personal information, your login details, or your profile photo. Further instructions can be found in provided user guides.
  3. Submit your profile against a position when you are sent a credentialing request or applying for a position advertised on eRecruit.
