Wayfinding

Clear wayfinding methods are used across the campus including:

  • Ward names: Descriptive ward names reflecting patient care areas, aligned with the existing hospital
  • Dharawal language: Complementary Indigenous language names for key areas, created in partnership with Gujaga Foundation
  • Animal themed levels: Each level is dedicated to a different native animal represented in its natural environment
  • Colour blocking: Unique colours to assist with orientation to each floor levels
  • Bed numbers: The system is standardised across all floors
  • Digital screens: Located at the entry to units / departments providing information for staff and families.
