We've put together this information pack to help families of children with cerebral palsy with their basic needs.

Children and their families thrive when their parents/carers are supported. Our service can help families connect with community resources that provide support. Many of these resources are free of charge. Explore a range of topics by selecting from the drop-down menu.

The information provided here is part of a Research Project called EPIC-CP (Equity Pathways and Integrated Care for children and young people with Cerebral Palsy).

The project involves the Rehabilitation Departments of the three NSW Children’s Hospital (Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick; the Children’s Hospital at Westmead; John Hunter Children’s Hospital) in partnership with The University of Sydney and The University of New South Wales.

This research project is funded by Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation & Luminesce Alliance.

What is EPIC-CP about?

Children and their families thrive when their parents/carers are supported. The EPIC-CP research project aims to better support families of children with cerebral palsy with everyday things in life. We want to help families to get help for their everyday things.

What are we doing?

The EPIC-CP research project is providing families with information about community resources that provide support for these everyday things. Many of these resources are free of charge.  This information is available via a hard-copy booklet or an online website. Both the hard-copy booklet and online version contain the same information.

Why have I been directed to this website?

You have been directed to this website to access the online version of the information about community resources that provide support for these everyday things. You can navigate through this website to find information about supports and services for Childcare and schooling; Government benefits and vouchers; Housing; Food; Bills; Transport; Using the NDIS.
