- new baby EB box set up with suitable dressings
- neonatal management plan written with delivery team in consultation with our EB clinic.
Baby born without signs of Epidermolysis bullosa
- general EB precautions encouraged for the first 3 days
- staff and family given clinic contact details if wounds develop at home.
Baby born with Epidermolysis bullosa wounds
- dressings from the EB box used for all care
- photos of wounds used to communicate with the EB clinic service
- review of wounds
- review local hospital needs to care for EB.
