Craniofacial anomalies are a group of conditions that impact the shape and structure of a child’s skull and facial bones. These differences can range from mild to complex and often involve irregular bone growth or premature fusion of skull bones. Common conditions include cleft lip, cleft palate, and craniosynostosis syndromes. 

Every year around 1 in 34 children are born in Australia with a craniofacial deformity.
