Aboriginal

Aboriginal children and young people have higher rates of respiratory infections, ear problems, and higher prevalence of chronic diseases like diabetes.

As one of our priority populations, we aim to support and facilitate specialised care for clinicians who may have patients and families who are Aboriginal.

Our services

We provide comprehensive care, welfare and assistance for Aboriginal patients and families across our network.
Our Aboriginal hospital liaison or education officers assists patients and families to access health and support services.
