Therapeutic Arts Initiative (TAI)

The Therapeutic Arts Initiative (TAI) offers creative and therapeutic support for young people living with chronic health conditions and/or disability.

Through TAI, you can take part in art therapy sessions and creative projects that support your wellbeing in different ways. Therapeutic sessions give you space to express how you’re feeling, make sense of your health experiences, and build skills to cope, self-manage and feel more in control. Creative projects let you explore ideas, work alongside other young people, and use art to share what matters to you.

TAI works closely with your healthcare team and is shaped by young people. Using creativity, we support you to understand your health, build confidence and independence, and feel more connected to your care.

There’s no right or wrong way to take part — TAI is about using creativity in ways that feel meaningful and helpful for you.
