Trapeze handbook: Carer support links
We acknowledge the responsibility carers take on to support loved ones living with a health condition.
Here are some resources to support you in your role.
Carers NSW
Carers NSW provide a range of services and support including dedicated programs, financial assistance and resources for looking after yourself.
Young Carers NSW
Young carers are children and young people, 25 years or under, who help to support a family member or friend living with a heath condition.
Find information about who young carers are, the types of things that young carers do and some of the programs and services you can access as a young carer.
Carer Gateway
Carer Gateway is a national network of support services for carers. You can access counselling, peer support, planned and emergency respite, carer support planning, carer directed support packages and more.
headspace National
As a parent and carer, it can be difficult to understand how to support your young person when you are concerned about their mental health and wellbeing.
headspace National hosts free mental health education sessions for parents, carers and community members on ways they can support their young person when they are concerned about their mental health.
