The Sydney Youth Cancer Service
The Sydney Youth Cancer Service is a specialised treatment and support service for adolescents and young adults with cancer, aged between 15 - 25 years and their families.
The service is run by the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick Kids Cancer Centre and Prince of Wales Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
Services are delivered by a specialist team who meet regularly with a range of experts from different fields to provide tumour specific and age appropriate medical, psychological and social care.
The team is led by AYA Staff Specialist, Dr Jessica Ryan and her team which includes Clinical Nurse Consultants (specialist nurses), a Social Worker, and Clinical Psychologists.
