Our team can organise an interpreter to help you understand the care we’re providing. 

For face-to-face and telephone interpreting services, please:

• speak with your child’s bedside nurse or the NUM
• call the Sydney LHD Health Care Interpreter Service on 1800 477 233, or 
• email SLHD-Interpreters@health.nsw.gov.au. 

We provide cultural support to patients and families who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. 

If you wish to see an Aboriginal Health Worker, please ask your nurse or call 0461 271 017.

You may request to speak with a social worker if you require more support at any time.
