Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) program

The Sydney Youth Cancer Service is a dedicated cancer program for young adult patients with cancer who are between 15-25 years of age, and their families.

The service is run by the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick Kids Cancer Centre and Prince of Wales Comprehensive Cancer Centre.

The team has expertise in managing tumour specific and age appropriate medical, psychological and social care.

The program has a psychosocial team made up of two clinical nurse consultants, a social worker and a clinical psychologist who  provide assessment and support for young adult patients having treatment.
